Ubuntu: Pros and Cons

Hello, everybody, Luke Chambers here! Now, today I will be talking about Ubuntu! Ubuntu? What's that? Well, Ubuntu is a Linux based operating system. It can be downloaded for free at the Ubuntu website. Let's get started!

Pros:
  • Awesome UI
  • Super safe
  • Easy to install
  • Has many build-in applications
  • Small download
  • Comes with Amazon!
  • Starts up super fast
  • And so much more!
Cons
  • Hard to access applications
  • Laggy (mostly when running as a VM)
  • And... erm... that's really all!

So, do I reccomend it? Well, if you get a computer that does not come with Mac OS X (basically all computers that aren't Macs) I HIGHLY reccomend it. Sadly, you can not run Ubuntu on a Mac, though. If you would like to try out Ubuntu or use it on a Mac, you can set up a VM (virtual machine) easily. VirtualBox is a very good VM application.
